MILL SPRING P.-T. A. MEETS THURSDAY The regular monthly meeting of the Mill Spring P.-T. A. will be held in the school auditorium on Thursday night, Dec. 17. Toy Pruitt will lead the de votional. A play “The Man on the Street”, will be presented by mem bers of the sixth and seventh grades under the direction of Mrs. W. E. Frady and Mrs. W. M. Watson. Christmas movies will be shown and the group will join in singing carols. Refreshments will be served dur ing the social hour by the hos pitality committee: Mrs. Marie Breaieal, Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Gash, Mrs. Mamie Harris, Miss Peggy Jean Johnson and Mr .and Mrs. Robert Jolley. Tryon post office will be open all day Saturday of this week to take care of the extra Christmas mail. There will be no meeting of the Tryon Girls Friendly Society until January 8th, says Mrs. C. E. Dimiick, leader of the group. Next week, Friday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) and Saturday, Dec. 26, the stores of Trftl will be closed, according to a schedule' agreed to by the Chamber of Com merce. This will give employees three days in succession for Christmas. Consumers will have to buy three days’ supply of gro ceries on Christmas Eve to take care of them during the weekend. The Bulletin, $3.00 per year in the county; $4 per year elsewhere.
